Staff is always great to me and Rozzie both!! They always listen and are quick to get her in with her long history of pancreatitis and the only vets we trust! Thank you for all you do taking care of us! And highly recommend if looking for a great veterinary team in the Gorge area!!

we have gone to The Dalles Veterinary Hospital for all our of fur baby care. My family while I was growing up took our pets there also. We have three generations of family who go there. Always so caring and compassionate. Our pets always get excited to see everyone when they go there.

I recently had to take my cat to the vet but it was Friday night and had to do a Saturday visit. This vet was able to get her in as an emergency visit. I was so relieved they saw her. The staff was kind and caring. They love animals there and it’s so easy to see that. I’m happy to stay with them as my family’s vet for my animals.

HI went down there at 730am after spending the entire night with my 17-year-old Yorkie Babygirl. She was very sick and as it turned out I had to say goodbye that day the most horrible day of my life. We were inseparable for every single one of those years. Her kidneys gave up and she was painful miserable and having a very hard time. These people who helped me that day were very caring and kind. They allowed my entire family to be there to say goodbye and allowed me as much time as I needed and when she fell asleep in my lap it was very quick and peaceful and as hard as it is for me to say They made things go just as easy as they possibly could even with the emergency visit that day the cost was very fair and not as high as I expected with having blood work done too. Although they offer cremation services there at a low cost I opted to use Eternal Rest Cremation Services they are also Excellent and offer the service at a lower cost.

Highest rating possible plus 10. My 4-month-old puppy, who I was told had all her shots – but found out AFTER she got sick with Parvo, that she didn’t get that booster. I was angry scared & confused that she was sick. They immediately got her into quarantine & started treating her. Since I couldn’t sit with her bc she was in quarantine, I was so worried she would be scared & not get all the love & affection she was used to. They have shown her so much love & she’s got many fans pulling for her there. They’ve shown me such understanding & empathy for how awful & guilty I feel. They give me regular detailed updates twice a day, answer all my questions & deal expertly with all my fears & how much I worry she’s scared & feels abandoned. Everyone is so kind & explains things so I understand. Highest rating possible +10

The Dalles Veterinary staff were all very friendly. I was pleased with my experience and they cared about my dogs well being. They explained the procedure and what to expect. I was happy to choose them for my fur babies’ veterinary needs.
